Collect the shapes and symbols laid out around the level. Stars will yield 300 points and Hearts will help you recover energy. You don't have to jump all the time but can simply drop from rock to rock instead. Sonic's latest adventure has him seeking out majestic waterfalls in search of shapes, symbols, and stars.
